News
April 15th, 2008
We have a long history and knowledge of the importance of alumni association programs as part of a robust partnership marketing strategy. The attached article from the January 24th issue of The Chronicle of Higher Education includes a good summary of trends with alumni programs and particularly their financial dependence on affinity endorsed credit card programs. Our view is that affinity is one of several factors that can be useful in designing partnership strategies. Given the powerful consumer trends that value rewards and offer immediate gratification, partnership programs must also appreciate the increasing value of affinity marketing as not just a method but a growing marketing channel for consumer products.
